I am currently an MSc student studying MSc plant science at the University of pretoria. My research subjects include crop biotechnology and physiology with a focus on crop improvement. I have previously worked on weed science, specifically on Conyza bonariensis and herbicide resistance. My current research includes finding feasible ways to address the problem of sclerotinia stem rot on soybean, with a main focus in crop breeding. This projects integrates both plant pathology and plant biotechnology principles. My research area of interest is in addressing food security through crop improvement.
